srcds not valid win32 application?

i type in the command C:\srcds\srcds.exe an it will not run at all i dont no what to do i have tried all the srcds.exe files an they all come up with the same error message saying C:\srcds\srcds.exe is not a valid win32 application? so what do i do?!

What game are You trying to run? Did You dl the files for that game? Do You have a server.cfg? http://cpnclan.home.comcast.net/install.html

i am trying to intall source an it wont work i have tried many guides i am such a nublit!
