Auto restart on linux without mods?
#1
Well, we are running 3 servers on 1gb of memory and by the end of each day the servers are fighting for around 37000kb of ram (37 mb), when we start the servers we have around 512mb free so we are looking for an auto restart method without using mods, we need this because we have a matching server which we pride of keeping mod free.

We have our public servers using a script in eventscripts so they are alright, but I can't get my head around how to auto restart at midnight without using a mod.

If you have Mani installed, you could use a Mani Cronjob to shut the server down at a specified time each day. A friend of mine taught me about the Windows version of restarting, which uses ServerChecker. We restart all the servers on the box at 5AM GMT, and in that time I execute an auto-update script using a Scheduled Task.

Mani can't end screen sessions as far as I know, and also we need something for our match server it has no mods on it so we would need a linux script.
