About 3 weeks ago my css server started verifying files on each and every start. This was after about 3 days downtime (i run the server from home, not always convenient to have it online 24/7). The server will verify all maps, props, models, sounds etc before finally loading. As my system is a POS this tends to take some severe time. I can remove the -autoupdate switch and the server will load without verifying, however this should not be needed.
Any suggestions as to what could be causing this?
My specs are as follows:
CPU: PIII 1GHZ
RAM: 512MB SD-RAM
O/S: Debian 3.1
