Many problems -- updating, running, etc
#1
Ok so Ive been trying to get this working and Ive partially succeeded. So I initially used the command line version, and got it working clean (no mods or plugins). After a few months of not running it, I went to update it and it said something like updating from 54 to 60 and I left it there for about an hour and it never did anything so I dont know if it was updating or not. The initial download didnt take that long.

So then I try the GUI version through Steam window and I can run it, but I dont know how to start it via command line.

When I try: C:\"Program Files"\Steam\SteamApps\accountname\"source dedicated server"\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike +map de_westwood_s -maxplayers 32 -insecure -tickrate 100

it says its not accessable. Filename directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect. Im not sure what is incorrect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Forsaken, try encasing the whole command in quotes, not the spaced parts.

i.e. "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\accountname\source dedicated server\srcds.exe" -console -game cstrike +map de_westwood_s -maxplayers 32 -insecure -tickrate 100

Use batch files instead of command line, or ServerChecker
