Can anyone with enough bandiwdth tarball update 51, and put it in their public_html? Valve has yet to fix the issue with FreeBSD and im not going to cripple my network for the steam downloader to work.

if you have a file list i can do it, i wasn't really watching what got updated. if it's by file date then the only files i have updated are: engine_amd.so engine_i486.so and engine_i686.so

isnt steam only a bitorrent client ? for download of needed files?
try to copy all files from a linux server and run it.

No, steam isn't based on the bit torrent protocol.it only downloads from 1 certain content server.
