Help a Noob out Please

You'll have to excuse me, I'm a complete noob when it comes to this stuff. I just DL'd SDS yesterday and set everthing up, but when someone other than me tries to join, it won't connect.

Does anyone have any insight on whats going on? Please keep your answers as simple as possible so I can understand lol.

One of my friends thought it might be something with the ports tho
