Renovating old work clothes

We have a lot of old hoodies and jackets with prints that are almost unreadable. We’re wondering whether it’s worth trying to renovate them or if it’s better to just buy new ones. Has anyone had experience with renewing prints? Is it worth it, or is it only a temporary solution?
