ever had laughing gas or sedation at the dentist ___?

I wanted to ask if anyone who's tried both laughing gas and IV sedation could compare the two? I've only done laughing gas and it took the edge off, but I still felt anxious. Thinking of getting IV next time and wondering how much more “out” you really are with it, and if recovery feels any different afterward.

I had sedation once for a deep cleaning, and it made the whole thing way easier. I remember feeling floaty but still knowing what was going on. If you’re anywhere near Ohio, I’d recommend checking out the cosmetic dentist in Eastlake Ohio. They talked me through the options and let me decide what worked best. Sedation’s not scary at all once you’ve done it—it’s way better than white-knuckling it.
