So I’ve been getting nonstop calls from a company called United Collection Bureau and it’s honestly starting to feel like harassment. They’ve been calling multiple times a day, leaving vague voicemails, and even trying to contact my family members about a debt I don’t even recognize. I’ve asked them for written proof, but all I’ve gotten is more pressure and shady tactics.
I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar with United Collection Bureau. How did you deal with it? Did it stop eventually, or did you have to take legal action?
I came across this page while researching my rights: https://protectionforconsumers.com/united-collection-bureau-debt-collection-harassment/ and it actually helped me understand a few things, but I’d really like to hear from real people who’ve been through this.
Would appreciate any advice or stories. Thanks in advance.
