Insta360 footage must be supported

Insta360 camera's have become a brand that one cannot erase out of our lives.
It is currently leading the 360 camera market and thus far, no other camera brand has taken Insta360 on in the fight for making a better 360 camera.
So why has one of the 2 leading editing software programs not integrated Insta360 so that we can edit it without a hiccup like Adobe Premiere Pro has?
Exporting an MP4 file in Insta360 Studio before loading the footage into Davinci Resolve, shouldn't be required in my opinion.
Can we please get full Insta360 support for both 360 footage as conventional footage?

It's actually Insta360 who make a plugin for PremierePro (and Final Cut), not Adobe integrating it natively.

You might want to push on the Insta360 channels to convince them to make a Resolve plugin as well.

I'd suggest to look outside the usual action cam brands. Some cameras I found on https://www.gigwise.com/best-gopro-alternatives/ gave me better file formats and metadata that worked smoother with Resolve. Way less hassle syncing things up and keeping track of clips.
