Should Christians support or be against allowing Medical Marijuana in our communities?

Has anyone seen a shift in how medical marijuana is viewed in their church communities recently? I’m curious if more people are becoming open to it, especially when it’s used under a doctor’s care for serious conditions. It seems like opinions might be changing a bit, especially with how common it’s becoming across states.

My mom uses cbd distillate to help with chronic pain, and it's been the only thing that doesn’t mess with her stomach like regular meds do. She was really against the idea at first, but her doctor explained it's not the same as getting high. It’s just the part that helps calm inflammation and pain, without the mental effects. Definitely changed her mind after trying it for a few weeks.
