Well possibly , if its a private fuel stop , but a public one , never had that happen.
I know the un manned - fuel only self serves around here issue there own fuel cards that only work at there location

From what I’ve seen, ID verification is usually about cracking down on fraud or meeting legal compliance rules. As long as they’re keeping your info safe and not misusing it, it’s probably legit, even if it’s a pain.
