Blocking Client commands. (EX> Killserver)

Is there any way to stop clients from blocking commands such as Killserver and other malichus server takedown commands.

commands like that require rcon access. don't give them rcon password and they can't change anything that's directly related to the server settings.

if you want to access those commands in game, type rcon_password yourpassword in console and use any commands by just typing rcon in front of each command.

Oh. LOL they must have fixed it on source. Wonder if it still works on 1.6. Last time I tryed it on a server (W/O rcon it shut the server down.) I had some dude I was helping with a Ded in china freaking. LOL.
Well I'm glad people cant exploit that anymore.

when you are running a listen server, you can shut down the server by typing killserver command in the console. if you are runnng a dedicated server, you CANNOT shut down the server without using rcon killserver in the console.

this was never an exploit. steam has added this feature for a listen server since a long time ago.
