Howcome i can only put max players @ 32 when i goto start a server? anyways i can up it i want too have 40 Sad

i think the max for hlds has always been 32

are you using the win32 console? or gui?
Someone in a post said soemthing bout GUI setting to max 32 only, but the command prompt is up to 40

i um, have no clue honestly :x I run linux srcds servers :\ might be the same as linux though...
Code:
srcds.exe -game cstrike -ip 64.182.75.26 -port 27015 +maxplayers 40 +map de_dust
Chaning ip with your ip of course. Might be something like that though.. or you can setup a shourtcut link to the srcds executable that runs on the command prompt.

srcds.exe -game cstrike -ip 213.151.43.11 -port 27015 +maxplayers 40 +map de_dust

i tried that but obviously like

C:\Server 1\HLServer>srcds.exe -game cstrike -ip 213.151.43.11 -port 27015 +maxp
layers 40 +map de_dust

still came up with the GUI and max players 32 Sad

try adding -console
