Hello,

I just set up a dedicated server on my box last night, your tutorial proved very helpful. I still, however, have a few questions, most importantly concerning the server.cfg. I was wondering exactly what information and code I should put into the cfg. and where I might be able to find a sample one to modify to meet my needs (simply putting a list of maps doesnt seem to be recignized ).
I've also been launching and running my server via the gui as oposed to "running" it from the start menue. Will the server still interface with the restart bat. file and the server.cfg files if started in this manner? Thank you for any help and time you might give.

Hello,

Heh, it seems I have a series of new problems now! First off... even with a map time limit of 20, it wont switch my maps. I know it must be reading at least certin parts of the server.cfg file because it switched my rcon password to the one i had written into that file. It also is is warning me that it cannot access bot phrase database `botchatter.db`?? Any further help would be grand.

Post your server.cfg file here (minus the password) so we can see if you have the commands correct.

The botchatter.db error occurs on all of the srcds. It is something on Steam's end that they haven't implemented yet. That error doesnt hurt anything.
