How do you change tic rate?

How do you change ticrate with using console mode i know how to do it using the steam integrated but how with the console and stand-alone mode?

add -tickrate 66 to your startup command line.

or -tickrate 100 or whatever rate you want.

No problem. You will also have to adjust the rates in your server.cfg to get the full potential of the increased ticrate.
