Sometime around 2012 I'd setup a TF2 Server on a Linux VirtualBox VM. I'd neglected it for a long time and have since moved on to QEMU/KVM.
I was thinking about setting one up again from scratch. So I have 3 (hopefully quick and easy) questions.
1) I remember at some point that Valve changed the way private servers worked. (My version had stopped working) Is this still a valid set of instructions? https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Linux_dedicated_server
2) That link says you need about 4.5 GB for the default assets. Is that still right?
3) On a minimal CentOS install without a GUI - what's the lowest RAM usage you think I can get away with while running a TF2 Server?
Thanks!
