If you have apt or yum installed, you should be able to do "apt-get install screen" or "yum install screen".

Use the "-port" flag to specify the port you want the server to listen on. You can also use the "+ip" flag if you have multiple IP addresses.

PS: You should have figured this out before starting a GSP...

403 means you don't have access to that file. Try again and see if it'll pick a different download site.

You can also try downloading the RPM yourself from one of the sites listed here (make sure to pick your OS): http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3?stat=3&search=screen&srodzaj=3

Quote:rpm -ivh screen-3.9.13-5.i386.rpm

You can check out some other RPM stuff here: http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-7-Manual/ref-guide/s1-rpm-using.html . Even though its a RH 7.0 guide, the commands are mostly the same through all RH/FC versions.

Who in thier right mind would rent a server off this guy Wink no offence mate but you should learn before anouncing your company. BTW if you do want to sell servers best thing to do is to make a really popular 26-32 man server you can get alot of traffic through them this is what i had with my "buisiness" I have shut it down now because cant realy bothered with whiners but i did get quite alot of interest due to servers publicity. Make sure you never overload anything and it will have to be 666tick also its worth investing in hlstatsx for one sevrer because the punters like it and u can flog it as an extra.
