Gmod Server on master server list

I have recently made a GMod hosting server (not listening) and I have no idea how to make it show to the public. Not just the connect 123.45.67.890. I have heard about the heartbeat thing... does that work? How would I make the public be able to join?

Im Pretty that Heartbeat works... All you need to do is Port forward then goto console and type heartbeat! Hopefully it works. Good Luck

Sometimes game servers hosted on the same network as you will not show up in the global list but will show up in the "Lan" tab. Check from another network.
