Server will not update.

Exclamation
I have a virtual server for TF2. This is the first update that has arrived since I got the virtual server. I have run a server on my computer and it updated perfectly, but now on my virtual server it won't update. I run update.bat, it runs through everything and at the end it says "HLDS installation is up to date" However when I start up my server again it still tells me that my server is out of date. The same happens when I run the server on my home computer. Nothing I've done has worked and had been a problem since yesterday and no one can join my serer because it says it's out of date.

I've tried repairing the HLDS update tool, manually updating the item schema (only for it to go back to the old one after I run update.bat again), deleting Clientregisty.blob and Installrecord.blob, installing an autoupdater, but nothing has worked.

I am running Windows Server 2008 R2 on my virtual server

This is the update.bat
Code:
c:\hlserver\hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game tf -dir c:\hlserver -verify_all -retry
pause

This is the startup code
Code:
c:\HLserver\orangebox\srcds.exe -console -game tf -port 27015 +maxplayers 32 +map mario_kart_2_v30

Hello.
I have been through the same here with mine.. The hldsupdatetool no longer works, up to last Sunday or Monday the grace period has stopped.
You need use steamcmd to install/update. No other way and since you use srcds, you need to get the correct game code.
I use to run a tf2 server that ran srcds and I saw the code being 440. Well steamcmd 440 download fine but with the hl.exe (hl2.ex?) file
I had to use 232250 which installed the srcds file.
Also, you can have auto-updates now ran while server is on.. Thats the next thing I need to learn.

The end result for me was to re-download the steamcmd zip file, extract it to a folder. I made a new folder for the game and ran the commands for steamcmd to install the game. I then moved the stuff over to that folder after I was sure the game ran.
I need to get the metamod snapshot 1.9.3 for sourcemod to work..

Hope this helps
