GMOD SERVER HELP - Could not establish connection to steam servers

[/size][/font][font=Arial][size=medium]hey all, i just started up my garrys mod server and everything works fine but it says in the srcds Could not establish connection to steam servers, im guessing that means vac doesnt work (since when im joining it says nothing about VAC), and in turn my server doesnt appear in the server list...any help? Also my server is a little glitchy in the sense that guns nearly auto reload, grenades and knives get suspended in mid air and walking thru solid objects..no problem! so if that issue is relatated to it idk but if i could get some advice on that as well that would be much appreciated

My OS: Windows
Game: Garry's Mod
Ram: 16gb
Server OS: im running on 32bit if that is what this bit means
Admin Mods: ULX
Proccessor: quad-core 3.0GHz
Start line: i know what this is i just cant remember which file its under, if neccessary i can provide this

These fails/errors happens really often for people. I have discovered it's something with a steam.dll file or something like that cant remember what name the file had, but if you don't have that file it also fuck something else up i cant find out what is. So i alltime recommend: The best thing you could do is to make a backup of the files on your Server as: skins, addons, mods and if you have more like that. Then remove/delete your Server and install/download it again(Reinstall). Then try the Server without any addons, skins and other exstra first. Then you know about the Server works before you work to much on it.

Then you will need to check your config file dosen't say the Server is only LAN. You know:
"sv_lan" "0"

If you run a batch(.bat) file for your Server then make sure it is not messed up with some text there dosen't matter, keep it simple like this one:

Then remember to check your ports, so you make sure your Server can connect to SteamLibery(Which is the public Server list).
Check your portforwarding is like this:
TCP/UDP: 27015
Then goto: http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and check about it can see your port. If the website can see your port then take the public IP it shows and put the port after the IP, like this:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:27015 and connect your Server on that IP, also called your Public IP. If anything of this dosen't work then make a new post on this website or be glad to contact me on:
