Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster. I can't track this down
OS: Debian 6, 32-bit
CPU: Xeon E3, 4 cores @ 1.6Ghz
RAM: 2GB
Game: TF2
Start command: su tf2server -l -c "screen -d -m -S SRCDS /home/tf2server/hlds/gameserver/orangebox/srcds_run -game tf -autoupdate -debug -steambin /home/tf2server/hlds/steam -maxplayers 32 +map achievement_idle_slideshow_b15"
No mods, vanilla. I installed it via the tf2 wiki guide, and run it via the srcds-service script (/etc/init.d/srcds start|stop|restart etc).
My problem is that while it starts up and works perfectly, pretty soon it will simply stop. If I connect and stay idle on it, it seems to stay up (EDIT: it still goes down even with me/players online). As you see above I've added -debug, and no dump or crash.log is written. I'm at a loss.
Once it's "down", checking top shows that srcds_run and srcds_linux are still running, srcds_linux still consuming average amounds of RAM as when it's running properly. I can't connect to it (and gametracker reports it's offline) though.
Any ideas? Or suggestions of things to try/test? Thanks in advance
