Also, before I start PLEASE don't ignore this topic.... I know 5 other people that posted the same problem without a response...
So heres my problem. I installed Garry's Mod on my mac with Wine from the official guide:

as i've done many times before. Everything seems ok but when I start it....
However, when I do it without the -console tag the GUI runs fine...?
Any help would be GREATLY THANKED!
Server OS: Mac OS X 1.7.4 Lion 64-bit
Processor: Core i5 2500k
Ram: 16gb
Game(s): garrysmod
Start Up Command: wine srcds.exe -console -game garrysmod -port 27015 +map gm_construct +maxplayers 16
(I did a Macports install of Wine followed by this guide: http://maurits.tv/data/garrysmod/wiki/wiki.garrysmod.com/index1636-2.html, I've used it before on my mac laptop and even copied the old files over... still it won't work :/)
