GMOD Segment fault
I tryed running gmod linux server, first it didnt have the linux binaries at all,
I added them and then It didnt run because the
needs GLIBC 2.7 and above so I replaced the with an older version to support older GLIBC and now I get this error:
(Centos 5.8 x86_64)

Finished RDTSC test. To prevent the startup delay from this benchmark, set the environment variable RDTSC_FREQUENCY to 2399.000000 on this system. This value is dependent upon the CPU clock speed and architecture and should be determined separately for each server. The use of this mechanism for timing can be disabled by setting RDTSC_FREQUENCY to 'disabled'.

You have to make sure that you've installed css, dods, and tf2 with garrysmod. If you've done this then there has been a recent problem where the hldsupdatetool doesn't unload the main bin files in order to start the server.

You need to go download this; , then put them into your orangebox/garrysmod/bin folder. This will allow you to boot your server.

If you need anymore help feel free to PM me.
Thanks for your reply,
Like I said, I already did that but this files are for GLIBC2.7 so after i added this to garrysmod/bin I replaced the with an older veresion one to work with Centos 5 and not 6(GLIBC2.7)
In the zip there are only 4 .so's while there are about 8 .dlls, maybe some are missing?
Linux doesn't launch from dlls, that's for windows servers, no files are missing.
I know that, like I said the linux has only 4 binaries while the windows has 8:

client.dll server.dylib
client.dylib menusystem.dll
game_shader_generic_garrysmod.dll menusystem.dylib toybox.dll
game_shader_generic_garrysmod.dylib scenecacheproxy.dll toybox.dylib
lua_shared.dylib server.dll
Don't worry about it, the server should launch just fine with those 4.
Well, it doesnt..
Well lets go over a list of things that you could of possibly done to get the server working:
- You installed TF2, DODS, CSS and Garrysmod all in the same server launch directory.
- You put the required files I linked into the Garrysmod/bin folder which includes,,, and
- You created a server config and added sv_lan 0 to it and all the required configurations for a server.

If you did all these and it doesn't work I will try to look into another fix for you.
can you give me a standard server.cfg that should work? thats the only thing I really didnt do yet.

Tryed this one:
No change..

My game addons are:
I tryed running CSS with exactly the same command only cstrike and de_dust2 and it worked(I have more CSS servers installed anyway so this is noting new, its something with the game binaries im guessing..)
