SourceMod can't load plugins.
#1
I have a CS:S Warcraft Source server running, and WCS itself works just fine. But any individual plugins I install won't load. The main reason I want to do this, is because SourceMod for some reason doesn't load the wcs_restriction plugin, even though I've put the .smx file in the plugins folder.

Other plugins won't work either, such as Resetscore, and NoBlock.

All I've done is that I've put the .smx files in the plugin folder. I don't know if I have to do anything else in order to make them load.

I know how to add restrictions for WCS, but it uses a SourceMod plugin called wcs_restriction. It adds the ability to restrict certain races to use use certain weapons with the WCS variables.

I don't think you quite understood my problem, though I appreciate you trying to help.

I can make races, and private ones, yes, but the restrictions doesn't work. The other plugins I've installed to SourceMod such as NoBlock doesn't work either.

I know what you mean as I worked with WCS and work with SM up to date.

Well I can't clearly tell you why it doesn't work, but first of all, are you sure SM is loaded?

go into server console (or via rcon) and try some things like:
sm plugins load wcs_restrict (if the name of the plugin is this). If it will tell you plugin is already loaded, use "reload" instead of "load". This will give you realtime error message why plugin isn't loaded. You could also go into errors log and see what's going on there.

Most likely the library it requires is not installed.

Unapproved plugins will still load fine, provided they don't have any fatal errors.

You never need to install the source (.sp file).
