I might just aswell tell you, you use some kind of editor to edit the internal values of engine.dll (windows) and whoop-de-doop, unlocked fps. Not recommended. I some day hope valve can implement VAC-bans on modified server-engine files. Would make the world so much better.

There is nothing wrong with 1000FPS servers. I don't get why you are hating on it?

With 1000FPS you can get the server to sleep less, and thus lower .var, but with this new update it makes the server react sorta like 1000FPS, but in my case, under competitive play, it actually makes it less responsive, as in the game acts really stupid. Some headshots don't count, and those that shouldn't count. Play competitive, and you'll know what I mean. For anything else, nope, nothing.

I have a very sensitive eye to things, every tiny bit of lag, I'll cry wolf.

This is under LAN btw.

My fucking face. 1000 fps is a waste of resources, and the worst part is that you do not even know it! The effect is placebo. If i had setup two servers, one with 1000 fps and one with locked fps to the tickrate and you couldn't use any client commands, you wouldn't notice the difference.

Now i can remove the "+fps_max 66.66" from my startscript?

My server runing 33.33 fps, "-tickrate 66".

It is normal?

it should be equal to tickrate, not twice less. At least I think so... Those valve love to make changes without documenting em

and tickrate is 66? I have no idea unless your server is overloaded and can't keep up t 66 rate

do you use any other special settings (like RDTSC_FREQUENCY=disabled)? don't do that...

the server will not run with higher fps then 66.67 in any case, so use fps_max 0.

Any idea, what i need check in the new kernel?
With this old kernel, the servers using too much resource :S
