Ubuntu + Taskset + System Processes on core 1

Is there a way to run all system process/applications on core 1 with taskset.

I run 2 game servers on my box and it has 3 cores. I have core 2 and 3 utilized by the two team fortress servers but i want to make sure i'm using core 1 for system process' only. Below is what i want.

core 1 = Misc stuff/system processes
Core 2 = Gamserver #1
Core 3 = Gameserver #2

I'm experiencing intermittent lag/hiccups and want to make sure no sytem process' are jumping between cores.
