#1
Hello everyone.
I got a downgrade in my server Sad
I just need to know if these specs can hold 146 players with 4 servers...
Code:
processor: intel i3 @ 3.04 ghz 2 cores
ram: 8 gb
line: 100 mbps

so 4 servers...
css ze server(50 slots): 33 tick
css jb server(32 slots): 66 tick
css gg server(32 slots): 66 tick
tf2 ctf server(32 slots): 66 tick

Please tell me if it can hold it or not...

Maybe maybe not. Test it.

You have a sufficient CPU and RAM to hold those servers, however, 100Mbps LAN will not cover it. I suggest you buy a Gb LAN.

I recommend this one:

You'll also need a gigabit router and gigabit cables (CAT6) if they are not already.

I recommend these cables and router:

(Cables, which ever length you need) http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=4024&IsNodeId=1&Description=CAT6%20cable
Router: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833122334

Also, please post your result from http://www.speedtest.net

That's just total bullshit. My two full 24 slot TF2 servers use about 4 Mbits a second. Now gtfo with your trolling or whatever you're trying to accomplish.

I doubt it tbh. It's a decent cpu, but you're expecting waaay to much out of it. Simply, try it out with all the servers full.

probably the 50 slot server will take one core alone. I would say a normal 50 slot server might even be difficult to run on that machine, but with tick 33 it might work more easily. you can run on more server on the second core, but all those together will not work.
(but the bandwidth is enough, there are currently no cpus that are fast enough to kill a 100 mbit/s connection with srcds... unless you go for really low quality and really big servers with multiple cpu)

Yes, as stated, 50 slot's will take up a whole core alone, and depending on the mod (ZE), if it's unlimited ammo, yeah, your not getting 50 slots on one core lol. But you are asking too much for that cpu. IF all servers were to be full, it would lag unbearably like a mofo.

well he is also thinking if it does lag to change to like a 2.8 ghz 4 core processor with 4 gb of ram.... Would that work?

Like, you need the highest amount of GHz you can get. I know g-portal sells OC'ed i7's up to 4.4GHz.
