Another 'How many slots can my dedicated server run' Thread.

Hi,

I am about to buy my first dedicated server, and i was wondering how many slots you think this can handle

Intel® Core™ i7-920 Quadcore incl. Hyper-Threading Technology
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 RAM
Hard discs: 2 x 750 GB SATA-II HDD
(Software-RAID 1)
NIC: 1 GBit OnBoard connected at 100 MBit
Traffic: Unlimited
220 GBit Bandwidth

So you have unlimited traffic, but yet have limited bandwidth? I am confused lol. You mean you have 220gb of traffic. That is going to be your limiting factor here, not the hard ware.

You need a lot more than that. Just to be safe, get 2TB a month.
