Ok, im trying to update my srcds.exe. i made a file called server update.bat, and in it is:
"Start hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game "Team Fortress 2" -dir C:\TF2Server\orangebox\srcds.exe -retry"
a bunch of stuff appears in the console and then it closes before i can see it. and when i start the server back up its still outdated. >< what am i doing wrong?

My TF2 servers wont update either, its just been sitting on the updater for hours... argh

Schweinessener you need to use something similar to this command:

C:\HLServer\HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -game tf -dir C:\TF2

All you need to do is change the location of your tool.exe and where your dir is. The command your running I wouldn't think would ever work
