Alright, take some cake - really.

I have some equipment in a datacenter which are behind my own firewall. I also had this issue but it seems to have disappeared by itself.

HEY GUYS HELP ME IF YOU KNOW!!!!! THIS IS SERIOUS!!!!

Well i tried to remove -ip command from the command line, the LAN IP GAME INFO problem of this thread FIXED , BUT I LOST RCON CONNECTION , I mean rcon is not working in HLSW or server.

What to do now? Is there an alternative solution?

P.S. My friend checked the router and said it was ok, he insists that the problem is since 24 june 2011 update.

Ok guys , I FINALLY SOLVED THAT!!!! YEEEEEEEEE Smile Smile Smile

In one other thread , one guy mentioned about putting the "+ip 0.0.0.0" at the command line for some rcon problems, WORKED FOR ME LIKE A CHARM Smile Smile Smile!!!!!! The router was NOT responsible for that, finally!!!!!!
I am really happy now , because my friends can join from another friends and I got my rcon connection back, yeah!!!!

Really thank you guys, for your patience Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin!!!

Hi

So i had the same issue as the thread starter bob7. And i applied the -ip 0.0.0.0 fix to my servers and now people can join. But now my sourcebans installation has become very comfused. When the server connects to the sourcebans database it reports that it has 0.0.0.0:27015 as ip and that causes it to not fetch the admins for this server...

i have added a temporery fix by setting every server to 0.0.0.0 ips in sourcebans, which works from the servers side, but the apear as non online in sourcebans and i cant hash or add admins from there.

in my former setup the servers had local ips, 10.0.0.2 and 10.0.0.3 and the same in sourcebans. but when people then right clickd in friends, they would get the local ip and server not responding...

Anyone that have a solution to this problem?

Adding the command -ip 0.0.0.0 in the command line works.
Now the ingame players, friends can join my server, and i dont have anny problems with Sourcemod, Sourcebans or GameMe Plugins that use Remote RCON

Thanks for this help! Now maybe there will be more players at the server! Before a new valve update comes
