I'm having trouble installing either a DOD:S or a CS:S server on my Linux box. I consider myself fairly tech savy, but new to linux, so bear with me.
I went through all the motions, installed both games. I really don't care much for CS:S, but I couldn't get DOD:S to work, so I decided to try CS:S. No luck, neither work. I created a new user, created a new directory, installed the game.
I got the following message after much waiting:
Well, now I go to run my server, using
And it stops running at this point. I can't tell if it's thinking or not working, because it dosen't advance. The last screen that I see in my Putty SSH client is
Any ideas?
