Metamod plugin not registering
#1
I followed the instructions on http://wiki.alliedmods.net/index.php/Installing_SourceMM but when I type "meta version" or "meta list" it comes back with unknown command errors. When I use "rcon meta ___" it comes back with "Unable to connect to remote server (0.0.0.0:0)". It's a dedicated server and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

AMD Athlon XP 3000+ Processor
Windows XP 32-bit
1GB RAM
Team Fortress 2
Trying to use metamod, Source mod and saysounds

Did you create a .vdf file for your installation?

Ah, I didn't know it was supposed to go into a separate folder. That fixed it, thanks.

No worries Smile

Also regarding the rcon failure, it's because you should not use the RCON command directly into the console itself. (RCon = Remote Console).

Just type the command without rcon infront of it when doing it in the console.
