Umm. This should be correct but I can't even connect to it. What looks wrong with this?


My startup is this...

My ports:




I have the server put on my spare pc and can't even find it on the same network, looked for the internal and external with the port number; I use a SpeedStream 6520 router.

Help?

Remove the first rule
change the third rule to protocol both.

You only need to open port 27015 UDP to host a server, so opening a whole port range is a big security risk..

Add:
"-ip 192.168.2.14"
To your startup command, its probably binding to the wrong IP.

EDIT: I have also tried 192.168.2.12 and still doesn't want to connect.

Try to look in your router settings... If it starts with the IP-address 192.168.2.12, you have forwarded the ports for the wrong IP-address

Here is my basic router information. What am I looking for? Should I put my external ip to the startup?

EDIT: Hmm whatsmyip.org says 27015 is closed when I have it set to as post 9 shows.

The UDP port are forwarded to The wrong address.. look at the picture. Edit your rules to use 192.168.1.12 instead of 192.168.1.14

Use -ip 192.168.2.12

and fix your port fowarding.
