gmod segfault vehicles

usually when someone spawns a vehicle the server segfaults and its really starting to drive me nuts.

i've tried:
- Deleting steam/
- Deleting all the bin files
- Removing all my addons
- playing around with various content folders
- googling
- reinstalling the server
- copying every single valve game I have from the gcf's to the server
