G'day guys,
After a few months of successfully running a couple of CS:Source servers, I have decided to expand and make use of the dual processor capability of my HP DL360 G3 server.
Anywho it will soon be upgraded to have 2 x 3.06Ghz/533 HT processors and 2.5GB of RAM.
I plan on staying only with CS:Source so how many slots could I get?
Bandwidth isnt an issue (datacenter)
Cheers
Ryan

afaik the DL360 G3 has a P4-base Xeon CPU. Even though it has 3 GHz it is a lot slower than modern CPUs with lower clock speeds. as srcds can use only one cpu, you will be able to run two servers but both with only a very limited slot count, like 16 at most. in the end you have to try it out, as many factors may play a role. especially your quality demands will have a big impact.

Because SRCDS only runs on a single core, it like having two different physical boxes.
