I try to install a new C:CS linux server and neither game "Counter-Strike Source" nor "hl2ds" do work, giving such an error-message:

Verifying: /home/css/Source\hl2\models\props_combine\combinetower001.vv d
Downloading: /home/css/Source\hl2\models\props_combine\combinetower001.vv d
Compression Failure

I cannot find any "srcds_run" File or something similar, it seems, that software-distribution system is buggy?

I command:

./steam -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir /home/css/Source -username xxxx -password yyyy -remember_password

Or this:

./steam -command update -verify_all -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir /home/css/Source -username xxxx -password yyyy -remember_password


The same also for "hl2ds" instead of CS:S
