srcds.exe wont run

Hello guys, i followed the windows tutorial exactly, and in the folder


C:\SRCDS\orangebox

i run the srcds.exe file, and it just clicks and then nothing happens,


whats wrong?

and i cant type the thing in Run, because it doesnt work..

You need to run the srcds.exe with command parameters.

Right click srcds.exe -> Create Shortcut
Right click the shortcut -> Properties
Edit the target line and append the parameters at the end. I suggest the following for a CS:S server
