Is it possible to upload your srcds files to an FTP server and then go into SSH and launch the srcds.exe shortcut and then run the server? If so how would I go about doing this? The server uses Linux.

Start it in you SSH session ... ./srcds_run <parameters> in screen or something

No, because Linux can't read .exe files... (you could do with wine, but theres no point in doing that)
