steps to do before starting.

hi, im going to rent a server only for source games, a dual xeon 2,8 2g ram and scsi hdds.
OS: Centos
Connection: 100Mb/s
which steps i need to follow to have a complete optimized system to host more than 20 servers on it. ?

are there special features to do on?

is there any manual for this issue?

im not sure how many servers of dod, cs:source i can host.
im asking if there are some specific stepss to do on this rootbox before i start, like special features for firewall or something else.
and how to have more than 10 server without lag etc.

im still searching for a good manual if tehere is some.

Remember to set your min/max rates in the srcds server configs, Allow port UDP:20009 on your firewall for secure mode to work, Dont run the servers in root.. Make a seperate account for yourself and disable root logon on ssh and just login as your normal account and SU if you ever need to do something in root. If you have no clue then i would recommend getting someone to help you. Your pushing it with 20 servers. 10 maybe but depends how many players and if public or not. Try not to use every bit of system resources available. always keep a little free.
