Has anyone else been experiencing a problem lately installing/updating their L4D/L4D2 servers under Linux?
This does not happen when installing/updating a Killing Floor server or even HL2DM. It appears to affect only L4D and L4D2.
Results in
I've deleted both InstallRecord.blob and ClientRegistry.blob, and even the steam binary itself and started over from the beginning, the same error occurs. OS is Debian 64-bit.
EDIT: I have also used the -username and -password switches for the steam binary and, again, the same message appears.
