gmod.. mods?

hi, i got a gmod server up and running but i cant seem to...
1. spawn npcs
2. spawn guns
3. spawn objects other than the ones u start out with
and ya..

so how do i add like lua files or something to the server? or change the value of npcs i can spawn?
