You don't need a video card in a server...

But yes, that will do fine for a few 12 slots CS:S.

it should be able to run 4 or 5 of such servers as you mention. But its difficult to determine without the bus speed and cache informations Smile

Its a Pent D, so its going to be in the 800Mhz range with a 1MB L2...

I wouldn't go more than 4... 2x 500fps per core is going to be plenty for that CPU...

If your running this at home you should be okay, Ud be set running quite a few servers at least at 1000FPS. If it is running from home how do you have a 1xGB? and a 1X100mbit connection? That is beyond insane for any HOME connection. Or am I just misunderstanding you and your talking about the capacity of the Ethernet ports?

If your running it at a datacenter or some kind of remote location I recommend you ditch the gpu (use a lightweight cheap one) and also don't use biostar. I've had a few biostar boards in the past and they are the cheap of the cheap. They are good for basic day to day stuff with e-mail and such but if your going to use them for anything important or for being reliable, I HIGHLY recommend you don't use biostar. Everything else isn't to bad though, you just have to watch your step with biostar's and wasting a on a server thats going to be crunching numbers.
