Bandwidth Usage
#16
My server stays populated through peak times most of the time. During the night it might not rack up alot.

I'm in Auzzie so I gotta make do with the low usage allocations

You can set your maxrate to 9999 but your server will lag, but cut transferred into a third.
Looking for a game server? Visit fullfrag.com and pick one up as low as $2.50 / mo!

Any ways, I think danish BW is expensive because our infrastructure is to small. The only "large" isp we got in Denmark is TDC

Well now, if we are talking co-location (putting your own server into a datacenter), theres several of providers like KMD, Zen Systems, Jay.net and more. I am using Zen, and i have always got a very nice ping to my customer servers Smile

If you mean broadband for your home, theres also an alternative - fiber (if its availble in your area). Theres also Telia, Telenor and so on..

An alternative is to host servers in New Zealand, you get decent pings to aus for half the cost...
Granted the pings are 40's + but compared to whatever Aussies play on most of the time ( from what goilio and a few others say ) a ping of 80 is good.
