Issue with orangebox - AoC, TF2, and GE:S

When I try to start any orangebox server I get hit with that message. While I'd normally turn to the guy who owns the box, he's MIA. Is there anything I can do remotely to solve this problem?

The error message is your answer:

`GLIBC_2.4' not found -> 5. (GNU libc) 2.3.4

Update to libc 2.4 or newer and it will work

That much I gathered. Is there any easy to follow guide for this floating around? Google hasn't helped me as much as I would like.
