Hi everyone,
I am new to these forums and have a quick question.
Let's say I was to run a css and gmod server here at my house. My Internet has a dynamic IP and the servers will be on 24/7(let's say never turn off or restart them). So if I left my servers on 24/7 would my IP be able to change still?
Thanks in advanced,
Nate

Yes, your IP would still change.

A dynamic IP is set by your ISP. Your ISP usually changes your IP about once every week. Sometimes they will run a quick restart on your modem to force an IP change.

Also, check if your IP actually changes. I know that I don't technically have a static IP, but my home IP hasn't changed in years...

Yes use the tool which Arjen posted. When I hosted from home maybe three years ago now, I used dynds because I had a dynamic ip.
