Anti-Spam Fixes

[Mooga]

So as many of you might have know, our anti-spam filter has been preventing a lot of people from posting legitimate posts. LOTS. We have tweaked a handful of things so this should no longer be the case. If you continue to have issues posting, please post here or PM me.

We are also going to implement some clever anti-spam measures that will better prevent known spammers.

Yeah, I'm thinking about switching my sig to "It's my life" or "happy 2010" or something

New anti-spam measures Mooga mentioned are now added. From now on we check the IPs of people who registered recently against known spam IPs every hour (previously we only checked it upon registration). We also disabled Akismet, as it was being devilishly evil to innocent posters.

@Beaver: I am sure the mods will appreciate that sense of humor

It is a nice post to keep sharing valuable information like this.
