system hangs

hey guys.
i have a amd root with currently 14 slots @ 33 tick.
the server runs smoothly, but every 5 minutes (one) of the srcds processes consumes 100% of the cpu and lags the whole system. i tryed to disable all the addons, restart but it had no effect.

the os is Ubuntu 8.04LTS 32bit.

ach ja, first i had a cronjob set up to renice the srcds process all 5 minutes, but i allready deinstalled cron.

try reinstalling the game server and don't change anything but the server name and the rcon password.

if that helps, make all necessary adjustments one by one.

if that doesn't help:
