Well I am setting up the SRCDS server right now, and im wondering when its done with every thing how will other people connect? Though my IP? Sorry, I just didn't know. Thats why Im posting here.

if you fowarded your ports right it should be your external IP http://www.whatismyip.com

27015 udp and tcp theres a range too but i dont rember but i dont think it matters

and so to connect I do "myIP" then :27015 like
Example:127.0.0.1:27015

Open ports 27000-27040 UDP/TCP.

use http://www.portforward.com for help on ur router ports forwarding
good luck
and use any ip u like to connect to ur server either ur pc ip on lan like 192.168.*.*
or 127.0.0.1
and
u beter host the server on another pc just in case
about to check if the server is on and online i mean others can connect to it
check out ur external ip on any site that reports it
and try to add it to gametracker
and ask ur friends to join as well

You're friends are also never going to be able to join from your friends list as steam will think you are playing a LAN game. You will have to give friends that want to connect your external ip.
