Have you tried making it insecure to see if VAC is the issue.

Well to make sure that vac is not the problem please make your server insecure and have a player outside your network try to connect.

Ok are we talking static IP from INSIDE your network or getting your ISP to give you a static ip for your EXTERNAL ip?

yea.. well you do need to put a static internal ip.. for the computer, or else your ip will change from like 192.168.1.102 to 192.168.1.101, and all your forwarded ports, go to a different computer, making the server, not work. you have to go to the tcp/ip properties of your connection, and manually set the ip, dns servers, default gateway, and subnet mask.
as far as a static external ip... very very nice, but you have to talk to your isp about that, theres nothing you can do for that.. i tried just cheating and configureing my router to use the same ip and all that.. and i lost internet connection... cuz they gave my ip to somone else. anyways, if you need step by step instructions on the static internal, i can give em, i just need to know what o.s. your running.
